This is simple enough. What would you do to make a game more difficult? It can be anything you like.

I for one, would make a boss fight, with instant death, and invisible projectiles.

i would make a dungeon 50 levels deep with millions of monsters, getting exponentially stronger each level, then i would make it so that even using the invincibility mode, you eventually get cornered by so many monsters that you're forced to give up, or you get bitten by a wererat, and constantly transform into a tiny little rat, causing you to become crushed under all of your stuff until you transform back to human, but the transformations eventually get so bad that you're forced to give up

Here's what I'd do.
The main character has only one weapon, right? He throws axes. And at the final boss battle, there's some sort of colossal smiling monster that looks like Domo-kun, and your axes can't hurt it. Instead, there's this chandelier on the ceiling that you have to trap the monster in.

you have to follow audio cues to defeat the boss. theres also really horrible music. and NO MUTE BUTTON!

i would make instant death projectiles fired down corridors so thin you can't evade them and the camera angles are so dodgy you can't see them to evade them anyway.

1:It's the GRINNING colossus, mono.
2:A corridor the length of the longest distance in Morrowind with a swinging pendulum blade every 50cm.While you run, multiple soldiers behind sandbags have ROTHAR cannons with a liquid nitrogen(?) circulation system, firing at you the whole time.And you have 10 seconds to do it, and you walk 50 cm a minute.

If it were a platformer, I'd give the guy 2 hits to live, and no limbs, so he can't arm himself. That, and he spawns in the middle of a dragon's den. Take THAT, I Wanna be the Guy!
